Thanks so much to all the fans that have written in to say they loved the special! I have been doing comedy now for fifteen years (wow!) and although I've been lucky enough to get other work doing dramas in film and television, comedy is my first love and I'll always come back to it -- it is dear to my heart. I'm glad you guys are enjoying watching it as much as I enjoy doing it!

I hope to see you all out there when I'm on the road touring this year, and keep checking my site for news, new pics, interviews and blogs -- I'll try to make it interesting for ya!

    Dear Aisha Tyler,
I am always so moved by your performances. Yes, your comedy is great. No Question about it. Your part in "Balls of Fire" was comedy, and I'm sure you've gotten lotsa positive stuff about it. But even Robin Williams has delivered Oscar-quality work, Bill Cosby, George Carlin.... If your're being funny, you're probably being honest. Please, Please, PLEASE!.... Give some thought to serious acting roles. I believe your understanding of comedy, timing and delivery and honest interpretation of your own or anybody's material, is shared equally by women of ALL colors, respected by men and enjoyed throughly on many levels by me in particular. Yer' just so Hot. So Funny, and so Wise that I think you could be a female Jack Nicholson. You don't have to abandon comedy at all. Never. I just see you with an Oscar in your hand, that's all.
And if you could find it in your heart to send me a picture, "To Joe, Love Aisha, All my Best." or some such. It sure would make me feel purty good about myself.....

    Hey, Ms. Tyler!

I've been a fan ever since your days on Friends and CSI (I still miss Mia). Just bought the "Is Lit" DVD and loved it. Some of the best stand up I've ever watched, and Nowassatall has become one of my new most heard songs. I was wondering if there was any way to get the song as a ringtone.

A worry has crossed my mind -- has a member of our intelligence community ever told you "Most realistic espionage drama ever"? Just wondering ...

    Hi,
I am a fan and a Volunteer with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington. We are planning a fundraiser (Comedy Bingo) and I was wondering if I could speak with you/your management to see if we might be able to entice you into hosting our event while you are in DC. ALL the money raised goes directly to Washington, DC Boys & Girls Clubs, so you would be helping out a great cause! If you have any interest, please let me know :) Thank you for keeping us entertained!

A redemption and a favor. First, I did catch the "Hindenberg 2.0" episode after all Sunday night. (I would personally dig riding such a thing -- an odd modern setting for a spy mission, though.) Second, I got "Swerve" through Books-a-Million and I hope when you stop by my 'Burgh in May you can autograph it. Funny thing is, I first noticed in the self-help section, even though page 7 clearly says "This is not a self-help book, either." But don't worry, your secret is safe with me. Not sure I understand the "reckless" part in the sub-title; maybe you arrived at your wisdom recklessly, but you sound pretty sensible -- but that secret is safe with me too. Men definitely need to read this book. Everyone else will just pander to them; this will actually indicate "This is how you begin to psych the one who works out, cooks, digs philanthropy, and dishes out enough wit for half the Algonquin Round Table." I salute you -- and this William Ward fellow needs to talk you into a sequel. Cheers!

I would really love to see you live in SWLA, that's south west Louisiana, sometime in the near future. I think you are the best at what you do and I also agree with the other posters, you're the hottest too. Keep up the great work and I predict a great future for you. Thank you!!!

Just watched "Lit" again and enjoyed it so much. Saw Balls of Fury a couple weeks ago and felt you were perfect for that part. And as I say about "Archer", I wish your character was at least as half as hot as you. But y'know, Aisha, all this ain't enough. Please do more stuff, m'kay?

    Hi!

I've been a fan for a long time. You are great.

I'm also from SF, raised in the Haight-Ashbury. You used to work at an ad agency with a friend of mine. She said you were SUPER funny & very cool even way back then.

Did you happen to attend a small private high school in SF? I won't say the name (it was on Page St). It just dawned on me as I was going through some old yearbooks that you MAY have gone there with me. I was there 1980-84.

Well, even if you didn't go there, I remain a fan. LOL

You are smart, beautiful, & talented & it has been amazing to watch your career blossom.

    xoxo

I was one of the people that couldn't make your DC shows because of the weather. I am so glad that you are making a return trip in June. Gotta warn you though, DC is very hot and humid in the summer. DC was built on top of a swamp and during the summer days, it can feel like the swamp is still there.

An apology and a bright spot. First, I'll probably have to miss this week's "Archer." Yeah, major argh. But I checked your calendar here, and am stoked to see you may turn up in Pittsburgh in May. AWRIGHT! Very shrewd of you, too, coming here when the winter's finally long gone. I'm even hoping you can do me one small favor -- but more on that later. Hoping you had a good Mardi Gras in your own way, Bill

Have you seen "Why We Laugh: Black Comedians on Black Comedy" ? It is a documentary put together by Robert Townsend and just premiered on Showtime this month. If you have seen it, what are your thoughts about it?

Also, have you seen the HBO series, "The Black List"?
They released a third part this month. The first part was released before Obama was elected and was about 90 minutes. Any thoughts about it?

    Hey Aisha:
I am a big fan and have followed you from the beginning of your career. You are extremely talented. I have a radio show called "Wine Talk with Stu The Wine Guru". I would love for you to call into the show as a guest. How can I make this happen. I have celeb guests on and we discuss careers, the biz, wine, food and any cause or organization they are passionate about. Of course I would be glad to plug "Archer" it's a superbly written show and you are great on it. Please let me know what you think.
    Thanks- Stu

Aisha, you're EVERYWHERE. I am of course watching "Archer" (ye gawdz, that guy gets more of our own people killed than Aldrich Ames, but I give Mr. Benjamin credit, he somehow makes total jerkishness sound oddly addictive) but just now I was zapping around during Fareed Zakaria (yeah, I'm a bit wonkish) and I caught you as Detective Jessica Wallis, this grim cop with a scalp-tight 'Fro, in the movie "Death Sentence." How did it feel, having the responsibility of trying to save Kevin Bacon's bacon? Anyhow, I always enjoy seeing (or hearing) more of you under just about any circumstances. Hope you're rawking you V Day. Peace from Pittsburgh.

Loved you as Kung-fu wolf bitch. Is there any chance of them resurrecting you and you being in season 3?
