No big deal. Hey, I have 2 good suggestions for this message board. First, let people do more than 1 post per day. Second, allow a person to repsond back to a specific post. There is no "reply" button. I know you are busy, but we all support your work. It might take an extra 30 minutes to answer back but hey, you are the famous one. Archer animation is so funny! I only watch it because of you Sweetie!
PS: I grew up in Stockton and graduated from CSUS.
    Peace, umm

Avid philanthropist, LMAO-inducing comedian, and now Jeopardy winner... I think I officially have a girl-crush.

Just wanted to pass on how much I love Archer - I'm sad that the season finale is over and now I am not quite sure what to do with my Thursday nights!

    Aisha,
Looked at the book on Amazon that one of your fans talked about: 'Daughters Of Men-Portraits of African American Women and Their Fathers' It is now in my wishlist cart to purchase soon. My favorite picture of my Father is the one of him and I when he walked my down the isle on my wedding day, he passed away several years ago(so did my marriage) but, I have that picture displayed in my living room today and forever. Glad you did the book, you're just the BEST.

Hey AQ! I hope you enjoy it. I am so grateful for my relationship with my father, who has always been a strong influence in my life, and I'm glad I was able to share that with others! And thanks for sharing your story about your father as well!

Hello Aisha, I hope that you will take this in the spirit it is meant. Please be aware that when you made those offhand pot smoker jokes during your appearance on Wanda Sykes' show that you were hurting the medical marijuana movement or the legalize marijuana movement. Bill Maher is an admitted recreational user and I don't think that it has hurt his career too much, has it? Please understand that those tired jokes about pot smokers being lazy and unmotivated are hurting the movement to legalize marijuana for everyone - especially for the chronically ill. There is no reason to insult everyone who ingests marijuana for medical reasons including stress related issues to get a cheap laugh. Are you aware that it is an excellent treatment for ptsd issues but that the war veterans cannot get a prescription without losing their veterans benefits? It is just not funny. Thanks for listening.

Thank you Jenny for your impassioned and thoughtful response. I feel confident, as do many, that it is only a matter of time before medical marijuana is legal in all 50 states, and having several members of my family who have gone through painful cancer treatments, I know very well how helpful medical marijuana can be for both alleviating pain and improving appetite and reversing weight loss. I was not trying to insult anyone, only to bring humor to what is clearly already a light, comedy-driven show, and the people in my life who are on the pro side of this argument, I believe, understand that. I am sorry if you took my jokes as hurtful, as that was not at all the way they were intended. I appreciate your passion on this subject; thanks again for coming to the site, and for your post.

Hello Aisha! I'm a big fan, ever since your Talk Soup days, still think you were the best part of "Balls of Fury" (tho Chris Walken was a close second). What I really love about your comedy is that you are willing to go wherever you have to to get the laughs. There are so many formula comedians out there telling the same jokes, you've always been someone who can surprise me. That's one reason I'm writing, actually- I know you can't look at unsolicited material or scripts, but who COULD I send a script to if I wanted to get it to you? I have a script I think would really let you use your talents to the fullest, but I'm an outsider, no hollywood connections and once I finish writing the script I'm really kind of lost. Please oh mighty Aisha, take mercy on a distant worshipper! :-)

    Hey Aisha,
Thanks so much for answering my first post, I have become a BIG Fan!! I noticed that you answer all your fans, that is soooooooo cool that you take the time to read and comment on each one. I have ordered:
'Swerve', 'Live at the Filmore', and the book
'Black Water Transit', which I read the movie may not be released(what's up with that?) from Amazon.com. I will be checking this site to see when you will perform in SF, can't wait to see you in person.
    Love ya.

Ok so, I finally purchased this book that I had in my cart FOREVER on amazon, I thought it looked interesting and I love books with great photography and if it has great stories to go along with the photos that's a bonus and if it's a book on African Americans then that's like the toy in the bottom of a cereal box to me lol. I didn't really pay to much attention to the cover while looking at it online. I was more interested in the content of the book. When I received it yesterday I opened the box that it was in pulled it out and still didn't bother to really look at it. Well, I picked it up today and low and behold something caught my eye on the cover, in a little photo on the bottom right hand corner of the book was a photo of YOU and your dad ;O) What a pleasant surprise!!! Book title: Daughters Of Men-Portraits of African American Women and Their Fathers! How awesome!!! I can appreciate this book because I was a daddies girl I used to go EVERYWHERE with my dad including Bars, but that's a case for child services so we won't discuss that lol All of that to say I am happy I purchased the book and can't wait to read it ;o)
